ZTF FORGED WHEEL FEATURES
Gear Cut Knurled Bead Seat:
All ZTF Wheels feature a gear cut knurled bead seat which improves the bind between the tire and the rim. This prevents tire creep/slippage and improves traction in high performance driving conditions.
Reinforced Inner Rim Flange:
An example of how material is removed while key areas retain mass. In this case, we added forged mass to the inner rim to resist impact bending.
Max Fitment:
These wheels are application specific. We take into account the proper performance wheel and tire size and the aesthetic of the car to make sure that these wheels not only perform well, but also look fantastic.
Brake Clearance Compatibility:
Wheel designs have been tested with some of the world's premier aftermarket big brake kit suppliers to ensure that these wheels clear potential racing upgrades. Wheels are designed to clear brakes from the design phase, while maintaining max concavity and good looks. Notice the raised rim barrel which allows for large diameter rotor and caliper combinations.
Rigid Spoke Tracer:
ZTF Wheels feature structural improvements to basic designs such as the rigid spoke tracer. This improves the stiffness and durability of the wheel while keeping the weight of the wheel to a minimum. Improving stiffness is key because if the wheel can withstand deflection/deformation in high load situations, you can improve driving consistency, which in turn leads to better confidence on the track.
Weight Reduction:
Painstaking care was taken in removing s much material as possible while keeping material in critical areas to ensure complete safety and reliability. All areas of the wheels are considered and tested with FEA Analysis software and tested in both laboratory and real world conditions.
WHEEL MANUFACTURING METHODS
There are a number of ways modern wheels are currently manufactured. Each of these manufacturing methods has a significant impact on manufacturing cost, wheel weight, wheel strength, and wheel durability.
Forging Process:
All ZTF Wheels are fully forged. The wheel starts out as an aircraft grade solid cylinder of 6061 Aluminum. The cylinder is pressurized with an industry leading 10,000 tons of pressure to give the wheel its basic shape while improving the grain structure and overall properties of the high grade aluminum. Absolutely no porosity combined with a densely organized microstructure allows for amazing designs, low weight, and high strength.
Flow Forming Process:
Flow forming is popular today due to the increased density of the wheel rim that is spun forged like a vase. Pricing is still within the budget of most race / track enthusiasts. The issue is that a flow formed wheel starts out as a casting with a casting grade aluminum (A356). There is still potential for porosity, but it is a definite improvement over a completely cast wheel.
Casting Process:
Most wheels in the world are manufactured using this method. Molten aluminum (A356) is poured into a mold to create the complete wheel shape. It is the least costly method of making wheels and is adequate for the street as long as it the wheel is well made. However, when it comes to performance/track environments, the potential porosity of the wheel (especially on lower end cast wheels) may cause cracks which is dangerous. Imagine pouring pancake batter into a bowl and watching air bubbles form.

Return Policy:
To initiate the return process, please call or email Strictly European Motors Ltd. We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization number. The RMA number, receipt/Proof of Purchase, and item + original packaging must be included for a return to be valid.

All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. All items being returned must be in new, undamaged condition, and in the original packaging. Any item that has been installed on a vehicle will not be eligible for return. Customers have a 30 day (excludes Unitronic products [15 days] no exceptions ) window from the time of the original shipping date to return an item. Shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer. Strictly European Motors Ltd is not responsible for the shipping costs of returns, nor will the initial shipping cost of the item(s) be refunded or reimbursed upon return of said item. All items shipped with FREE shipping will still be subject to actual shipping charges being non-refundable.
We highly recommend insuring items for return, but that is left to the discretion of the customer. Strictly European Motors Ltd is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items. Items can either be exchanged or refunded to the original payment method depending on preference. Exchanges are subject to product availability.
Certain items are non-returnable this includes but is not limited to: special order items, all Uni connect cables, electronic items (items with electrical components), tools, fluids of any kind, cleaning products and on sale/clearance item. These items cannot be returned for a refund or store credit. Under no circumstances will Strictly European Motors Ltd reimburse or pay for any parts/labor charges related to an incorrect, faulty, or defective product.
Please note, when ordering an item, it is incumbent upon the customer to choose the correct item or product for their vehicle. Please ensure you are providing the correct make, model, and year, as well as engine and drivetrain layout when ordering. Mix-ups happen, and Strictly European Motors Ltd prides itself on helping and providing information to customers when they occur. If you are unsure of whether an item will fit your vehicle, please contact Strictly European Motors Ltd and speak to a representative.
We are aware that glitches occur, and sometimes the wrong item is sent. If this occurs, contact us immediately to notify us of the discrepancy. We will work with you to sort out the issue.
Returned and Refused Shipments
All shipments refused by the receiver or returned undeliverable will be processed as a return according to Strictly European Motors Ltd return policy.
Miss-Shipped Orders
Strictly European Motors Ltd tries to ensure all customers receive the parts they have ordered, however mistakes do happen. In the event that Strictly European Motors Ltd ships the incorrect item, Strictly European Motors Ltd will provide a return label so the incorrect item can be returned. A return label will only be issued to the address the item was originally shipped to. Strictly European Motors Ltd will only send out the correct item once the incorrect item is received in the original packaging. Replacement items will only be shipped to the address on the original order. Strictly European Motors Ltd will not provide a refund or store credit for mis-shipped items. All mis-shipped items should be claimed within 3 days of receiving shipment. All mis-shipped items that were attempted to be installed or are not in the original package will be refused.

All orders placed on a weekend or holiday closure will be processed the next business day. In the event of a back-order or out of stock item we will do our best to contact you by phone or email with an estimated ship date for the item(s) you ordered. Some items are noted as special-order or require lead-times, so please keep that in mind when ordering such products. To ensure the fastest delivery of your order, some items may be drop-shipped to you from a third party, or shipped in a separate package.
Strictly European Motors Ltd uses Canada Post, UPS and Fed Ex as our primary shipping companies. Strictly European Motors Ltd will make every attempt to ship your order using the method you selected at checkout but in some cases we will ship with an alternative shipping method without notice. Strictly European Motors Ltd is not responsible for any delays caused by any shipping company.
