TECHNICAL DETAILS
A catch can works well to catch all of the oil fumes that are omitted from the block and valve cover breathers. This removes the oil mist and blow-by that is found in the charge piping and intake system while greatly helping to reduce carbon buildup, which relates to power loss and poor drivability.
Our kit includes the breather adapters to plumb the catch can using the included -10AN hose. Our breather adapters replace the factory plastic breather connections that commonly crack or break on 1.8T engines. This complete kit removes the factory PCV components and plumbs the new catch can to the valve cover and block breather using the included billet breather adapters. This makes for an easy install that requires no custom fabrication or modifications. The catch can mounts in place of the factory relays, which get relocated into the wiring duct for a clean install.
This kit uses the Integrated Engineering vent-to-atmosphere catch can, which features our state-of-the-art baffle system to catch the oil mist and not let it pass back into the breather system. This flawless catch can is fully serviceable, easily disassembling if needed. Draining the catch can is simple with the use of the included T handle drain valve, no tools necessary. This beautiful piece is finished with a bright black anodize finish, which maintains a stealthy appearance while looking great in your engine bay.
Everything you need to upgrade the PCV system on your MK4 1.8T 20V engine is included with this kit, with a very simple installation that takes less than an hour to install on average. This kit allows the use of the factory engine cover if desired, and the entire install is completely reversible if it ever needs to be removed for any reason.

INSTALLATION
Everything needed for installation of your new IE Catch Can Kit is included. The MK4 1.8T engine bay is tight and reliable mounting locations are limited. COLD WEATHER CLIMATES
Catch can kits are designed for warm weather climates only. If you live in an area with sub-freezing temperatures in winter months, extra precaution must be taken as condensation in the catch can and lines can freeze and cause pressure to build up in the crankcase. We recommend checking the contents of the catch can frequently or removing the system entirely during cold winter months. Integrated Engineering is not responsible for any damage caused by improper servicing of the catch can.

Return Policy:
To initiate the return process, please call or email Strictly European Motors Ltd. We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization number. The RMA number, receipt/Proof of Purchase, and item + original packaging must be included for a return to be valid.

All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. All items being returned must be in new, undamaged condition, and in the original packaging. Any item that has been installed on a vehicle will not be eligible for return. Customers have a 30 day (excludes Unitronic products [15 days] no exceptions ) window from the time of the original shipping date to return an item. Shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer. Strictly European Motors Ltd is not responsible for the shipping costs of returns, nor will the initial shipping cost of the item(s) be refunded or reimbursed upon return of said item. All items shipped with FREE shipping will still be subject to actual shipping charges being non-refundable.
We highly recommend insuring items for return, but that is left to the discretion of the customer. Strictly European Motors Ltd is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items. Items can either be exchanged or refunded to the original payment method depending on preference. Exchanges are subject to product availability.
Certain items are non-returnable this includes but is not limited to: special order items, all Uni connect cables, electronic items (items with electrical components), tools, fluids of any kind, cleaning products and on sale/clearance item. These items cannot be returned for a refund or store credit. Under no circumstances will Strictly European Motors Ltd reimburse or pay for any parts/labor charges related to an incorrect, faulty, or defective product.
Please note, when ordering an item, it is incumbent upon the customer to choose the correct item or product for their vehicle. Please ensure you are providing the correct make, model, and year, as well as engine and drivetrain layout when ordering. Mix-ups happen, and Strictly European Motors Ltd prides itself on helping and providing information to customers when they occur. If you are unsure of whether an item will fit your vehicle, please contact Strictly European Motors Ltd and speak to a representative.
We are aware that glitches occur, and sometimes the wrong item is sent. If this occurs, contact us immediately to notify us of the discrepancy. We will work with you to sort out the issue.
Returned and Refused Shipments
All shipments refused by the receiver or returned undeliverable will be processed as a return according to Strictly European Motors Ltd return policy.
Miss-Shipped Orders
Strictly European Motors Ltd tries to ensure all customers receive the parts they have ordered, however mistakes do happen. In the event that Strictly European Motors Ltd ships the incorrect item, Strictly European Motors Ltd will provide a return label so the incorrect item can be returned. A return label will only be issued to the address the item was originally shipped to. Strictly European Motors Ltd will only send out the correct item once the incorrect item is received in the original packaging. Replacement items will only be shipped to the address on the original order. Strictly European Motors Ltd will not provide a refund or store credit for mis-shipped items. All mis-shipped items should be claimed within 3 days of receiving shipment. All mis-shipped items that were attempted to be installed or are not in the original package will be refused.

All orders placed on a weekend or holiday closure will be processed the next business day. In the event of a back-order or out of stock item we will do our best to contact you by phone or email with an estimated ship date for the item(s) you ordered. Some items are noted as special-order or require lead-times, so please keep that in mind when ordering such products. To ensure the fastest delivery of your order, some items may be drop-shipped to you from a third party, or shipped in a separate package.

Strictly European Motors Ltd will make every attempt to ship your order using the method you selected at checkout but in some cases we will ship with an alternative shipping method without notice.
